We are excited and terrified at the same time. He has stepped down as manager and will only be working part-time (with a big pay cut) to accomodate his school hours. I will be getting a job as well, to help support us for the eight month duration of the program. Hopefully I can work at least 20 hours a week, and hopefully I can find a boss who is supportive of nursing. I am kind of freaked out, because James still isn't taking very many solids, and it looks like I can only work four or five hours at a time till he does. Wish me luck! </div> <bR> <div> Oh, you probably want to know what Mike's taking, eh? </div> <bR> <div> He's enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician course. It's eight months, and when he's finished he has the option of working in a clinical or hospital setting, or using his lab experience to continue on to be a full Pharmacist, or become a family doctor. I think he'll work right away to get us back on our feet and maybe work towards purchasing our own home, and then go back to school to complete training in one of those areas. When he finishes in June, he'll be making double what he makes now, as manager. I am immensely proud of him and so excited for our future. </div> <bR> <div> James is seven months old!!</div> <bR> <div> He is still the love of my life. And I still feel that becoming a mom was the best thing I ever did. He's up on his hands and knees rocking all this week, so crawling isn't too far away I think. That is bittersweet. I need to babyproof! We've had a lot of playdates lately, which has proved to be so good for both of us.</div> <bR> <div> Thanks for reading!</div> <bR> <div> PS- James learned to crawl on October 24th!!
